It's the middle of January and it has been in the mid 70's for over a week now! Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining... I do feel bad that we'll be in serious drought mode this summer, but for right now we're celebrating! We've been playing a lot at the beach, riding bikes and enjoying this glorious weather while it lasts. Even though Ruby has been feeling yucky, she has been the trampoline queen! She has been potty trained since shortly after her 2nd Birthday and although her bladder is the size of my baby fingernail, we're all so proud of her. Just this week she was sitting on her little potty and I found her sitting there reading a book. I asked if she was going potty, she informed me that she had "stinky potty" and sure enough she did (diarrhea). When we were driving home from playing at the tidepools a few days ago, Ruby was extra silly in the backseat especially since we've been skipping naps this week as we play. Bryan asked her is she was koo-koo and she replied "No, I'm just happy". Indeed, she truly was. Out of the mouths of babes. I love having happy children, even though sometimes they make me koo-koo, they are a joy!
